As an alumni of the University (Class of ’91) and a former #USCDad, Dennis was born and raised a Trojan.
Tusk Villas was founded in 2020 by not only himself, but his daughter, Kaiden, who recently graduated USC in 2022. After experiencing the difficulties of getting on-campus housing as a transfer student, the duo worked to make Tusk Villas a place where spring admits, transfers and those looking for a unique living experience could fully take advantage of all the university has to offer.
Having both the parent and student perspectives in mind when founding the property, Dennis and Kaiden worked together to create an inclusive space for all students- whether involved in Greek life or not - to enjoy the row to its full extent while making the housing process less of a hassle.
As the pair famously likes to remind prospective tenants, “We are not a big management company that is hard to communicate with or get answers from. We are a family run business dedicated to making sure that all residents that live at Tusk have the same wonderful experience we did while attending USC.”
It’s important to mention that although his first born, Kaiden, attended the right school (USC duh), his other two children attend/attended a little school across town that can’t seem to beat us in football (*cough *cough UCLA). His son, Grayson, played for the men’s UCLA soccer team prior to going pro and his youngest daughter, Josie, recently started her sophomore. The #HouseDivided is real within the #DoodyFam.
When not on the job, Dennis loves to sit back and enjoy a white claw or die game with his family and friends! Don't worry, his frat boy lifestyle hasn’t gone away just yet…
Throughout the years, Dennis and Kaiden have been determined in making Tusk Villas a home away from home for many…a place where girls can feel safe and build relationships with one another that last well beyond their college years…and most importantly, a place where students can truly become apart of the Trojan family.
